A Word About Planning and You

Hi again, so here goes...

As many of you know, organizing a reunion is more art than science. Planning this far ahead requires faith, goodwill, and a lot of "throwing caution to the wind" and crossing your fingers. If you have not yet hosted a reunion, you should be aware that every discount, concession, or bargain negotiated with vendors is based on the numbers. That is why we will frequently survey the family before making final commitments or creating a budget. Please respond to all surveys, whether you plan to attend the next reunion or not.

Our main objective is to put together what we think will be the greatest vac-union possible while being responsible stewards of your money and time. Deadlines matter. Taking three minutes out of your day to respond to emails is important. All hosts want attendees to receive the most bang for their dollars.

We understand that for some of you, it may be difficult to plan so far ahead or that life can change in a minute. We will do our best to communicate decisions so you can plan accordingly.
